ADSA Partners met in Cadiz for their 3rd Steering Committee Meeting

30 October 2018. ADSA Partners have met in Cadiz at the end of October, with a double purpose: Attending the LAMBDA WORLD event that took place in Cadiz, where ADSA played an active role and holding a regular Steering Committee Meeting.

Lambda World is a “Functional Programming Event” addressed to web developers, where the ADSA project had a booth in the exhibition area, not only to disseminate the project but also to attract digital startups to join the project activities.

On the second day, all partners met to revise the ongoing project activities and to plan the next ones that will take place during the next six months, being the most relevant activity, the development of a Boot Camp that the University of Porto will deliver in the five different countries participating in the project: Spain, Portugal, France, Ireland and United Kingdom.

The ADSA Bootcamp will take place in the course of 2 days in each country around February / March 2019, being the first one dedicated to learn tools for internationalization (BMC and innovation / entrepreneurship tools, Opportunities and Threats for the internationalization process, The Business Model environment, adapting the Value Proposition to new markets, and how to pitch to investors).

The second day will be dedicated to learn negotiation strategies and Role Play, success stories on internationalization, Management and Multicultural Teams, Scale Up, Pitching and feedback.

100 startups from those startups participating in the local bootcamps will also have the opportunity to travel to Porto to take part in the Pitch Bootcamp and Final Event, that will take place during May 2019.

This final event in Porto will offer the opportunity to pitch before investors across two sessions, have one2one meetings, attend to conferences, etc..

At the moment ADSA partners are finalizing the recruitment process, identifying startups interested in participating in the project activities. (Interested in taking part in ADSA?: www.atlanticdigitalstartup.eu)

Other activities foreseen in the project area, access to mentors, possibility to attend international trade fairs, possibility to count with a commercial video, taking advantage from a soft-landing offer, attending local workshops.

Atlantic Digital Startup Academy (ADSA) helps digital startups develop and launch their offer in international markets. Through a support programme including mentoring, training, networking and events the Academy companies research new markets, test their products, develop know-how and form partnerships that will be fundamental to successful selling in overseas markets.
